I have a japanese version sony hdr td 10 how can i change it to english

1.find a japanese person and ask him to do it for you
2.find an english manual and follow the same steps
3.find an online translator and try to translate the steps

(those are working if your camera support english language)

Sony should be able to do this for you as there really isn't anything online, they can point you to a place to take it or send it or possibly they will switch yours for one that is standard in English.

most of the nv-gs50 cannot support multi-language (i.e. the ones manu/bought in japan).

you may be able to find a firmware update, but i would not recommend it---i.e. you are stuck with japanese

You can try first to go to your Control Panel and to REgional Settings and change your language to English. If that doesn't work you will need to resintall the Operating System and select "English". When you put the CD in you will be prompted to reinstall or repair. Depending on your OS, you can try repair and then you should go through the prompts to select English.
