Touch pad control panel not responding

First, confirm that the display is working. If the display is still working, try pressing some of the touch-pad buttons. If some of the buttons respond correctly but others don't, it is likely that the touch-pad is at fault. (Some manufacturers sell the touch-pad separately from the control panel. Other manufacturers require that you purchase the touch-pad and control panel together. If you cannot replace the touch-pad individually, replace the touch-pad and control panel.) Your spa side touch pad/ topside control panel is failing. It is only a "Communicator" the buttons are shorting between them. This is usually the problem when symptoms are manifest like yours.

Possible causes/procedure:
1. Check the touch-pad/LED assembly by selecting different
cycles and changing the modifiers and options available to
confirm the touch-pad/LED is responding.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check wire harness connections to the
touch-pad/LED assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU).
Remove the top cover:

Check your connection for corrosion or soap dripping into the top of the machine. It is advised not to set anything on top the washer that might drip into the controls.

there are specific setting to enable the pad somehate it some love it but you can sort it out by looking at Control Panel /device manager etc

if USB mouse is working at least you can navigate to find issue

Sometimes simply cleaning & drying the touch pads does the trick.
