We're does the hose on the bottom of the carburetor go on a 2007 honda crf 100

The hose on the bottom of the carburetor of a 2007 Honda CRF 100 should be connected to the carburetor overflow drain tube. The overflow drain tube is a small tube located on the bottom of the carburetor bowl. It is designed to allow excess fuel to drain from the bowl and prevent flooding of the carburetor.
To connect the hose to the overflow drain tube, first locate the tube on the bottom of the carburetor bowl. Next, slide the end of the hose onto the tube and secure it with a hose clamp if necessary. It is important to make sure the hose is securely attached to the drain tube to prevent fuel leakage.

I have a craftsman chainsaw 2.2 cubic and there are 3 fuel lines two comming from the primer bulb and one going from carb into the motor or crank. The return is connected to a nipple on the crab and the...

This is a common problem. The fuel lines can become brittle and fracture, or sometimes they swell and will not stay on their connections.

The tube that connects between the carburetor and motor is likely used to pulse the fuel pump that is internal to the carburetor.

The primer pulls the fuel through the carburetor drawing the air out. As the primer is stroked first air than fuel is pumped out of the carburetor. The output of the primer returns to the fuel tank. That fuel line appears to have failed or become disconnected in your craftsman. Either the hose has broken at or near the fuel tank, or has pulled out of the tank. There is a small hole in the tank for many machines. The hole is smaller(providing a seal) than the tube diameter requiring a minor force to squeeze the tube back in place.

Look for the fuel feed tube that also connects from the fuel tank to the carberator. Any loose connections will allow air into the carberator and it will not beable to run.

Important is that the fuel feed tube can not be switched with the return tube from the primer. Connected inside the tank is a fuel filter that protects the carberator from contamination.

Hope this helps?

I have a weedeater xt 200 trimmer. The parts in

The tube in the tank is the fuel pickup line and goes directly to the carburetor. You will need to get NEW fuel lines. Fish or shake the old parts out of the fuel tank after draining. Inside the tank will be a small length of smaller diameter fuel line that connects to the small fuel filter and there will be a small nylon line connector that is plugged into the end of the larger diameter fuel line which is the fuel return line from the primer bulb back to the fuel tank. That line ends just inside the fuel tank and is held there by the small nylon line connector. The other line (smaller diameter) needs some length inside the tank so it can flop around as you move the machine enabling it to always pick up fuel. 6" or so is about right from the hole in the bottom (or top) of the tank to the fuel filter. Buy long enough lengths of fuel line that they can be inserted into the tank and pulled thru the fill cap area and then have the parts put back on them and then cut to the correct length from the fuel tank to the carburetor and/or primer bulb. Buy about 1 foot of each size line needed. Small engine repair shops have it and sell it..not expensive.

Fuel Line Replacement by SmallEng.com

  • The hose in the tank with the filter on the free end connects directly to the carburetor input connection.
  • If the saw is equipped with a primer bulb, the output line from the carburetor connects to the suction side of the primer (once the bulb is collapsed it draws fuel from the tank through the carburetor to refill the bulb as it inflates).
  • The pressure side of the primer returns displaced fuel to the tank as it is depressed.
Take lots of notes and a few digital photographs will help with reassembly. HTH

Homelite trimmer - tubes into tank came out. One is split

Actually the fuel is pumped in by the carburetor. The carburetor work both vacuum and pressure when operating the pump. There is one line in the tank with a fuel filter normally attached; the other line is a return line is normally just inserted a short distance in the tank. To access the filter use piece of wire with a small hook on the end and carefully fish out the line.

If installing new lines change them one at a time as not to reverse their attachment to carb, When inserting the lines into tank cut them on an angle to help get them started then cut the supply line square before installing the fuel filter.
