PROBLEM WITH CARTRIDGE

I BOUGHT AN HP DeskJet F388 All-In-One Printer IN CHINA WITH THE 816 CARTRIDGE BUT NOW I'M NOT THERE AND CARTIRDGES 21 AND 22 ARE NOT WORKING. SURFING ON THWEB i FOND A POSSIBLE SOLUTION BY RESETING THE PRINTER. DO YOU KNOW HOW? THANKS INS ADVANCE

SOURCE: 8250 HP INK EXPIRED MESSAGE

I had same problem, and i solved it.
I opened my hp 8250 and removed it`s battery. It is located on left side of the printer, on the main board. You need to remove plastic covers , and then remove 3 screws holding board. You can move board just enough to get damn battery out of there. Now it works perfect!

SOURCE: I used to refill the ink cartridge of HP Deskjet D1460 by injecting ink. The problem is the level of ink is not resetted to full level, its still very low level. However, the printer prints normally

Close the top left pin at head contactor (1 pin only), with tape. Plug it in head carriage. Unplug it. Close to top rigtht with tape too. Plug the head. Unplug head. Remove all the tape cleanly. Plug again. See ink monitor.

I presume that you have tried with different cartridges to rule out the possibility of cartridge fault and you are not printing in draft mode.

Clean the electrical contacts on the cartirdges and carriage.

The steel rod, on which the carriage moves, is set too far away from the paper. Open the printer's top cover and loosen the lock screw of the brackets holding the rod by its ends. Rotate these brackets a few degrees to lower the print carriage towards the paper to obtain desired printing. The screws to tightened.

Troubles with the connection or power supply could be another issue causing failure to print in your printer. If there is any loose connection or error in the cables or connection, your printer might fail to work at all. The problem might be easily averted if you are checking the connection and ensuring that all the connection are intact. You might disconnect the cables and reconnect them, to ensure that they are intact.

HP 970 Cxi. Problems with colour printing. Ink cartridge is new

I have the same problem. I suspect the ink cartridge part # 78 that you and I bought has problem. I plan to return it today to the vendor.

HP Deskjet 4280 does not print. 'E' error on Control panel button

I had the same problem. It was solved once I bought an original color cartridge. Refilled cartridge seems not to work on this printer. Glad if it might help.

I have a Deskjet 6940 printer and ive bought a HP348 photo colour ink cartridge. it wont fit in the slot!? Does it go in the colour slot?

Your printer doesnt support HP348 cartridge.
HP 99 Photo is the cartridge meant for 6940 which wud go in the slot for black cartridge. and you can print approx 130 photos .

Hi there. If the printer that you have is new try to call HP technical support for the replacement of the printer. Usually the warranty of the printer will last for a year. Here are the steps in resolving the problem. Clean the rollers of the printer with lint free cloth that is moist with water. Then try to print. If it would still reoccur try uninstalling and reinstalling the software but if it will not resolve the problem ask for a replacement.I would consider that a junk because that error message is a hardware problem.
