check connection and wires at battery for damage or corrosion if good check for power to ignition switch if no power check for damaged or shorted wiring if good turn key and check if power going to relays or accessory's at fuse panel if no power switch may be bad
nothing (is nothing cant turn it at all or nothing can get ignition or crank positon)

new cars, dont have it , most older cars do.
if you dont push the button the key will not turn.
so did it turn, ? the key that is turn?
On back of the computer is a on off switch for the power supply, or unplug the computer for one minute. Turn the switch back on, or plug the computer back in and try to turn it on.
