alsoo Remove Cookies in Google Chrome

Anytime you enter a search query into the Google search engine or navigate to a website in the Google Chrome web browser, a file called a cookie is saved on your computer.

You can remove the cookies to keep your browsing history private.
Click the wrench icon at the upper-right corner of the Google Chrome web browser.

Scroll down and click "Options."

Navigate to the "Under The Hood" tab and find "Privacy."

Remove toolbars from dropdown menu

Clear the Dropdown Address Bar For security and privacy's sake, you might want to clear the drop-down address bar in your Firefox browser. You can do so in just a few steps. Note that these entries will not be retrievable after they're deleted.
Launch Firefox browser and click your cursor inside the address bar. Begin to type in the address that you wish to delete, but do not press "Enter" or click "Go." You will see the drop-down list auto-populate. Using the up or down keys on your keyboard, scroll down to the item you wish to remove from the listing. Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard to remove it permanently. Your browser will now be free of specific items that you wish to remove. Remove Unwanted Toolbars Permanently Web toolbars are add-on programs that enhance functionality of your browser. Usually they improve your online searches, offer quick access buttons to favorite websites and some provide pop-up blockers. However, there are spyware programs that only pose as toolbars. Yet other toolbars, although not harmful, install themselves without your consent. You can easily remove these unwanted toolbars permanently from your PC.

Go to the "Start" menu and click "Control Panel." Click "Uninstall a program" under the Programs area. Scroll through the list of currently installed programs, select the toolbar that you want to remove and click "Uninstall." Follow the step-by-step prompts to uninstall the toolbar. Restart your computer when prompted at the end of the removal. b> Firefox Launch Mozilla Firefox, click the "Tools" drop-down menu, select "Add-ons" and click "Extensions." Click the toolbar you want to remove in the new window. Click the "Uninstall" button. Restart the browser.
Clear the Drop Down Menu in Mozilla Firefox b> Firefox's "autocomplete" feature helps speed up your Web browsing experience. Whenever you type in the browser's location bar, a drop-down menu appears. This menu may contain a mixture of previously visited websites and entries from your bookmarks collection. Although this feature makes it easier to revisit old sites, you may want to clear this drop-down menu when it becomes too large. Clearing the menu can reduce its and prevent others from viewing your browsing history if you share the computer.

Launch Firefox and click "Tools" to display a drop-down menu. Click the "Clear Recent History" option to view the "Clear Recent History" pop-up window. Click "Details." A list of options appears. Remove the check marks from all options, and place a check mark next to "Browsing & Download History." Click "Clear Now." b> Clear Bookmarks Click the "Tools" button again, and then click "Options" to display the "Options" window. Click "Privacy" and find the "Location Bar" section near the bottom of the window. Click the drop-down box in that section and click "Nothing." Click "OK."
