I just paired my 2xx plantronics bluetooth with my cell and I get the following message. "Remove wired headset or car-kit to connect". What does this mean and how do I get past it. I have the earpiece headset and nothing else. Also it comes back that the bluetooth is powered off or out of range. I have turned it back on and its within range. Someone please help!

Hold down the call button on the headset and wait for it to flash slowly blue. Make sure your phone is in "discoverable" mode. You should see your phone asking to connect to the plantronics headset. When it asks for a code, enter 0000.

it's either OOOO or 0000.

The pairing pin should be 0000, most bluetooth device's use all 0's.

Had the same problem and called Plantronics. They reminded me about putting the earpiece in "Discovery Mode" by holding down the button when turning it on until it flashes blue/red. Then have the EVO scan for bluetooth devices. It found mine right away.
