Tv turns off

Install a new crank shaft sensor. I had the same problem with my wife's Jeep. It would run fine fore days at a time then quit. When the crank sensor goes out their is no spark or injection of fuel into the engine. This is a Hall Sensor. They can be intermittent, and affected bu heat. If your Jeep will not start, try freeing the sensor and see if it starts. Cold Freeze is used in electronics to test

how many times does the red light blink on tv.

I would suspect the lamp first as they can cause intermittent shut down issues.

Next time it wont start, check for sparks. Might be a bad crankshaft position sensor.

I have got the exactly same problem as you have, i just pull the plag and wait couple of days.. then turn it on again. it just open like a normal.. but when you finished with tv and turn it off... it occure the same problem again.. think we need service.

Theres an STR##### IC in the power supply thats intermittant and this is a very very common problem Im surprised the repairman didnt know this. Tell them to look it up on the schematic and come to your house and replace it. Most repairers wont do this in the house because they cant get the same money but in my opinon it shouldnt take more then an hour too do.
