When printing from the Lexmark Imaging Studio software, my Lexmark P4350 is only printing up to 50% of a photo or picture (at detailed resolution) and then it just stops and boots the paper out. It's the same on scanning in the Lexmark Imaging Studio softwar - it just stops some way into the job. The printer works OK when printing from other applications and even in it's stand alone all-in-one configuration, it scans, copies and prints no problem. The problem seems to be just with the Lexmark Imaging Studio software. I'm on XP home. Lexmark technical support have washed their hands of this problem after numerous emails and calls to them, and uninstalling and re-installing several times, checking some weird lexbces file thing etc. etc. I can't even load the software successfully onto my Dad's brand new PC, but that may be because he's on Vista. Any help you can offer would be most appreciated, because I'm wasting my precious life on this ******* printer, and could do with proving one way or another if it's the PC (as Lexmark are suggesting) or if its the printer.
If the Lexmark software doesn't work you could just try using other software. Picasa http://picasa.google.com is a free photo management software and does a great job of printing photos. You can scan from an application like Word or using the "Get Picture using Scanner Wizard" menu that shows up when you right click the Scanner in My Computer in Windows.
