I have a Canon mini 260 ink jet photo printer with error code B200

Canon Printer Error Code B200 may point to many different items, but it's essentially a problem with the overheating of the print head. Other than that, the issues usually have to do with the full waste ink tank, the full waste ink pad, and other parts of the printhead.

For the Canon Printer Error Code B200, Canon technicians recommend some generic solutions for this issue to users. This suggestion includes turning the printer off and turning it on. But we noticed some more comprehensive solutions for the solution involving dealing with the printer heads.

I am getting error code B200 on my Canon Pixma MP 620 printer

B200 IS BAD PRINTHEAD. i TRIED TO CLEAN CLOGS BUT IN THE END THE FIX WILL BE TO (REPLACE PRINTHEAD) IF UNCLOGGING PRINTHEAD OF DRY INK DOES NOT WORK. YOU CAN UNCLOG BY USING A PRINTHEAD CLEAMING KIT, BUT IF THIS DOES NOT WORK REPLACE HEAD. EBAY WAS CHEAP FOR ME 25 BUCKS PRINTER IS WORKING AGAIN.

I get the message 6A00 on my Cannon mini260

It is a ome kind of jam in the purge unit. Open the cover and pull out the power cord, and now you can move the printhead to the left and out of your way. Use a flashlight and a folded paper towel and examine the parking ink pads where the printhead comes to rest. It is inside on the far right. You want to see if the wiper blades are stuck extended. The should be all the way back but sometimes they stick forward. Press on them gentley and see if they free up.

If they are back, press down softly on one or both of the black ink pads with the paper towel. Be careful not to get ink on your fingers and it won't come off very easy.

If the printhead won't come to the center, then its jammed into some part of the purge unit. Plug the power back in and turn the printer on. At the power on cycle starts, press gentley to the right and then release. IF that does not work, repeat the power on/off and try again but this time wiggile the head both left and right. You don't want to use any force, you are just trying to free it from the jam condition.

Please rate the answer if it helps you to solve the issue.

Error code

Hi
This may work
The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.

Solution 1:
Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.

Solution 2:
Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.

Solution 3:
Press the ink pads down in the purge unit.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
