no, it wont. Dell notebooks have proprietary components and configurations, and using another motherboard will not work, it wont fit, it wont interface with the connections, and it wont make you happy. If you want to get a gaming machine, buy an alienware device, or, (if you wanna get out a little cheaper) go to the Dell outlet, and get a refurbished Dell Studio XP. you can get one with a 2200 64 bit dual core CPU, 4 gigs ram, and 320 gig hdd for about $620 after fees etc.

If there's no problem with your internet connection speed, updating the flash player and quicktime will fix it.
Click here to download the latest Adobe Flash Player, open the link, download and install it. Restart the browser and try again.
(the latest version is adobe flash player 10, if it's already installed, uninstall and reinstall the version 9.0)
Click here to download Quicktime Player.

It's also important to restart your computer after you are done installing.

Clear all the temporary internet files, caches, cookies after closing the browser and try again. To clear the temporary internet files, cookies etc.. go to control panel open the "Internet Options" click the "Delete" button on the general tab, confirm it and restart your computer. Now try playing the youtube videos again.

The most common issue is the internet connection speed and the system configuration.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Cannot reseat my hdd not found?

Hi Robert Clark,

You may try reseating the hard drive by referring the below link which is a user manual for Dell Inspiron 1750:

http://downloads.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_laptop/esuprt_inspiron_laptop/inspiron-1750_service%20manual_en-us.pdf

However, if this doesn't help then please explain the issue with the hard drive then I can check and see what can be done.

Thanks and Regards.

The "galaxy of games card classics"will not run/play on my dell 1750 inspiron for some un known reason, can you fix this problem? '

You can run older programs in Windows 7. Here are 2 fixes:

1. Run a Program in Compatibility Mode in Windows 7. This one is easier, so try this one first. It should work.

2. Run Windows XP Mode with Virtual PC. This one more complicated because it involves installs and running a virtual system. Use only if you feel comfortable with instructions.

No main video. external video vga works

Seems to me that you may be experiencing a BIOS issue I would go to Dell web site and download the BIOS again for sure to make sure the BIOS is back to working order. This may be the issue try this and any other drivers that have to do with video you may have a corrupted driver along the line here that is how I would handle it. Click Here
