My hp deskjet 3550 does not print

When I click the print icon, another window would appear with the heading PRINT TO FILE. I tried to enter the filename of the document I am supposed to print on the space provided for but it still doesn't print. I want to get rid of the PRINT TO FILE window that keeps on popping out everytime I click the print icon and just go directly printing the document.

Unistall the printer(software) then let Windows reinstall the printer, only you have the drivers downloaded(from website link below) and tell it , the computer, where to find them, when asked.

My HP 3550 deskjet will simply not print. It goes through the motions and seems to be printing --but the page is blank or very faint. I have already cleaned and re-calibrated the printer

Check ink-levels -- no ink means no printing.
Run a few more "print-head-cleaning" cycles -- clogged ink-jets cannot spray ink onto the paper.
