I have a Dell 924 Photo All In One Printer and It is installed I am trying to add to my computer, but it is asking for the IP address and I don't have it. I was just wondering if is there any way I can Add the printer to my computer without the IP address?

1.Check inside the printer to see if you have the ink properly installed.
2.Make sure you don't you re-use papers that you have already used.
3.All papers have to be perfectly allined.
4.Check the connection wires between the computer and the printer.
5.Scan your computer with a security system to catch and eliminate viruses,tracking cookies etc.
If all else fails I don't know what to say

well check your printer machine IP address...just like a computer printer machine have their own IP.then use the IP of you printer...

You Need to connect your printer to your computer with the USB cable.
Then Install the drivers from the CD which came along with your printer.
Follow the onscreen instructions while installing the drivers and software.

Once its Installed Start using your printer.

If you don't have the Driver CD, you can download it from the Internet.

Go to http://support.dell.com

Download the driver and install it.

pls re-installer your software of your printer uninstall the first installation then in install it again or simply re install your operation system maybe has a problem due to corrupted os mostly like has a virus.

The printer IP address is something you have to add. You can go to Xerox.com and go to support, type in your model number and then to support again.
Then enter IP in the search box and it will tell you step by step how to set it up.
You can set the printer up with a USB cable and it will skip that all together.
The reason it is asking you for the IP address is so it can find the printer and automatically add it.

Have you tried searching for new hardware?
Try restarting the computer to see if it sees the printer.
I am sure the printer is on and plugged IN.
Have you installed the drivers and software yet?
Have you tried going through "add a printer"?

Connect it to the router. It should hopefully be set to get an ip address from the router. On each computer that you want to print from you need to select Add Printer in the Printers section of Control Panel and select a "Network Printer". You should be able to either browse for it or put the ip address in (depends on the router, printer settings etc). It should then ask you for the drivers etc.

dell computer or printer aint good...it not worth it the money try in other brand name

nope..you can do this, but you'll need the install disk, or the software on your drive, so the 'chooser' can see it.

if you don't have the old disk, go here, get new drivers for your model number, install them,

then add that printer. when it asks for the model, use Have Disk. then your computer will go search for the new drivers

should work nicely
