Had this problem also when I rebooted my Time Warner Cable box. Unplug everything from the wall including power strip and wait 60 seconds then plug back in and turn everything back on. Worked for me and havent had a problem since. Time Warner does not know what causes this yet.

Cracked 46 inch screen on my Samsung tv. Where can I get a good deal on replacement? Or can it be repaired? Please help Model number is LS46BHPNB/XAA

You can go to Encompass or J&J electronics for the Panel. But If you have never replaced a Panel before, it is best left up to a trained Samsung tech.

LCD Screen says ''2 missed calls''

The "[1]" (or other number) in the upper right is the number of the extension. If you have more than one extension, they will each have their own number. Unfortunately, I can't anwer your other question as I have the same problem myself.

Remove number displayed in right hand corner in output 4

The problem was with the cable box and not the television. We unplugged box - (we'd reset it before) and the "2" was gone.

Number on the screen

Because the issue is occurring in multiple brands of TVs, mine is a Samsung plasma, the element that is linking all the issues together is the cable and/or SATELLITE boxes. I have actually called Samsung and they disavow any responsibility for the 2 and say that it is a cable issue. I have to agree. THE SOLUTION is to replace the cable box with a new box. I just did this last week and the 2 was gone. So if you are having this problem then i recommend trying the same thing. REPLACE YOUR CABLE BOX and/or SATELLITE TV BOX AND THE 2 GOES AWAY...at least it did for me.

Samsung sp42w4hb Rear projection

needs new convergence ships, part number stk 392-040, there is 2 of them, replace them both, also check fuses on the board, you probably need a tv repairman to fix this.

We have samsung 50 inch plasma tv, we have only half a screen

I have a Phillips 50 inch Plasma. About two months out of warranty the top half of the screen would go black. Sometimes when we tapped on the back behind the upper right hand corner the picture would return. I did some research online and found that there is a Main Y sustain board (much like a mother board in a computer) and connected to that board is a upper Y Buffer board and a Lower Y buffer board. According to my research these boards seem to be the source of the problem. I am assuming that the upper buffer controls the top half of my screen and the lower controls the bottom. I removed the back of my TV (about 50 small screws) and searched for these parts by part number. Surprisingly all of the parts in my Phillips are made by Samsung. I found the parts on ebay at shopjimmy.com. I decided to try replacing the upper Y buffer first. I ordered it from shopjimmy for about 100.00. When I received the part I started to remove my upper Y buffer and realized that the new part was slightly different. The part number was the same but the REV. number was slightly different. The new part was missing a small white connector that connects the upper buffer to the lower buffer. I sent it back for an exchange for the right part with no problem. Ok so here is the interesting piece of this little adventure. When I started to remove my upper Y buffer I removed the screws and started to pull on it to loosen it. When I noticed that I had the wrong part I pushed it back into place and put the screws back . My TV has worked perfectly since I did that, with my original part. It has only been about two months, but if you are in the same situation it might be worth a try.
