Power turns off as soon as I turn it on.

The digital light processing, or known as the DLP, TV uses a main board to project the image onto the TV's screen. If the board goes bad inside the TV it will cause the electrical components to overheat which in turn can cause the TV to shut off by itself. In those cases the TV will generally try to turn it's self back on after it has turned off.

Toshiba 46g310u turns off and on by itself

The problem is a voltage dip. I can reproduce this on the same model TV by turning on the A/C or the oven and dryer at the same time. As soon as I hear the thermostat click on the TV shuts off. Just order a voltage regulator today, will see if that works.
