Here's how to add an email address to your PayPal account:
Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
Click 'Update' beside 'Email.'
Enter your new email address and click 'Save.'
When you add an email address to your PayPal account,
we send you an email to confirm that you own the email address.
You might be asked to provide certain personal
details of when you first created your PayPal account have them ready
Click the link in the email to confirm your email
address.
If you do not receive the email, you can request that
we send it to you again.
Click 'Click here to confirm your additional email
address' in the email we sent.
Enter your password in the box and click 'Confirm.'
If the link does not appear in the email, you can
confirm your email address from your PayPal account.
Here is how:
Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
Click 'Confirm email address' in Account Overview.
Click 'Click here if the button does not appear in
the email.'
Check your email inbox.
Copy the confirmation number in the email.
Paste the confirmation number in the box provided.
Click 'Confirm.'
If there is a delay in receiving your email
confirmation notice, it may be because your email notification preference is
set to receive HTML format.
Check with your internet service provider for steps
on changing your email format from HTML to plain text.

B. How do I change my home or business address?
Here's how to update your Address:
1.
Go to the
PayPal website and log in to your account.

4.
Enter your
address information and click 'Save.'
Here's how to add an address:

Go to the
PayPal website and log in to your account.

5.
Enter the
new address and click 'Save.'
If you have a credit card or a debit card on
your PayPal account associated with the new address, select it, then click

If the new address is your home address click 'Make Home.' If it is a business
address, click 'Make Business.'
Here's how to remove your old address:

Go to the
PayPal website and log in to your account.
2.
Click
'Profile' near the top of the page.
3.
Click
'Update' beside 'Address.'
4.
Find the
address you want to remove and click 'Remove.'
5.
Click
'Remove.'
Note:
We can't accept a PO Box as your home address. You may use a PO Box as a
shipping address, but not as your home address.
You must have at least one address on your account. You can't remove an address
until you add a new address and make it the home address.
You can't remove an address from your account if it is your credit or debit
card billing address. Please update your address with your card issuer before
you update it with us.
C. Can I change my address from one country to another?
Unfortunately,
you can't add addresses outside Australia to your account at this time. When
you move to another country, you need to close your old PayPal account and
create a new account using your new address.
If you have addresses in both countries, you can keep your old PayPal account
and create a new one, but only one of your accounts can be a Premier or
Business account.
D. How do I update my phone number?
Here's
how to add a phone number to your PayPal account:
1.
Go to the
PayPal website and log in to your account.
2.
Click
'Profile' near the top of the page.
3.
Click
'Update' beside 'Phone.'
4.
Click
'Add.'
5.
Enter the
phone number and select the type of phone.
6.
Click
'Save' (if you want to add another phone number, click 'Save & Add More').
Here's how to update a phone number on your
account:
1.
Select the
phone number you want to change.
2.
Click
'Edit' and make your changes.
3.
Click
'Save.'
Here's how to remove a phone number from your
account:
1.
Select the
phone number you want to remove and click 'Remove.'

E. How do I add or
update the card in the PayPal account?
Here's
how to add a card to your account:
1.
Go to the
PayPal website and log in to your account.
2.
Click
'Profile' near the top of the page.
3.
Click 'My
money.'
4.
Click
'Update' beside 'Debit and credit cards.'
5.
Click 'Add
another Card.'
6.
Select the
'Card Type' and enter the required information.
7.

Note:
You can link up to 8 credit cards or debit cards to your PayPal account.
Here's how to update (same card number but new expiry date) your credit card or
debit card information:
1.
Go to the
PayPal website and log in to your account.
2.
Click
'Profile' near the top of the page.
3.

money.'
4.
Click
'Update' beside 'Debit and credit cards'.
5.
Click
'Edit' next to the card you want to change.
6.
Update your
information.
7.
Enter your
card security code.
8.

F. How do I remove a
limitation from my account?
Here
is how to remove a limitation on your account:
1.
Go to the
PayPal website and log in to your account.
2.
Click
'Resolution Centre' near the top of the page.
3.
Click
'Resolve' for each required response under 'Begin a limitation review.'
4.
Follow the
steps to remove the account limitation.
If you complete these steps and your account
remains limited, it might be because:
- We need additional information from you. We will send you an email to let you
know exactly what information we need.
- We have not finished our review of your case. We can usually email you the
results of our review within 3 business days.
G. How do I recover my password?
Please
follow the steps below to recover the password for your PayPal account.
To recover your password:
1.
Go to
www.paypal.com.au.
2.
Click 'Problem
with login?' under 'Account login.'
3.
Select 'I
forgot my password.'
4.
Enter the
email address you used to create your PayPal account.
5.
Enter the
security code shown, without spaces.
6.
Click
'Continue.'
Depending on the information on your account,
we will either ask you to enter in some details, such as your card number, to
confirm your account.
Alternatively, we may send an email to your
email address.
If we send you an email, simply click on the
link in the email and create a new password.
If you do not have access to your email account, you can try to confirm your
account ownership by phone:
1.
Click 'by
phone' on the 'We just emailed you' page.
2.
Select a
telephone number from your account.
3.
Select
'Call now' or 'Call in a minute' if you are ready to receive a telephone call.
4.
Enter an
email address where you can receive further instructions from us.
5.
Click
'Continue.'
Cancel a PayPal
Payment
Sign in to PayPal.
Navigate to the "Profile"
screen by clicking "Profile" button.
By default, your personal info will
appear.
Click "My Money" to view
your financial details.
Click the blue "Update"
link next to "My Preapproved Payments."
A list will appear, with the
merchants who you have agreed to automatically pay via your PayPal account.
All merchants you've ever agreed to
reoccurring payments with will appear.
Click on the desired merchant.
Click the blue "Cancel"
button next to "Status" at the top.
Click "Yes" when a
confirmation box appears.
Once the payment is successfully
canceled, you will see "Canceled on XX," where XX is the date.
