Hi,
my packardbell notebook laptop is not seeing a new (or old) hard drive. I There are no options in the Insyde bios (very limited options) to look for hard d
have purchased a replacement disk drive as I suspected the old one to be faulty. during boot up PXE-E61 - media test failure, check cable is displayed on screen.
I have tryed recovery and windows cds which attempt to install windows but stop after "no hard drive" appears on screen. I have flash updated the bios from parkardbells web site which I suspect would remove any virus or conflict issue? Do i need to "match" the hard drive to the motherboard bios? please help. Regards chris
