How to connect aprinter to an acer one

you will have to add a printer to the pc
get to printers and devices -- click on add aprinter, insert the disc when asked , connect up the printer to the pc and follow the installer wizard instructions

In your printer settings in the printers and devices check to see what port you are trying to attach to. If you are connected to a network printer verify the IP address is correct if you are connecting through USB check to see that you are connecting to the proper USB you can see if there are other USB ports listed and try one at a time until you get a satisfactory print test.

Assuming that you mean Acer Veriton 2800 desktop computer, here is an official link for you to download the lan drivers you're looking for. Keep in mind that these drivers are for Windows XP op. system. In case your new op. system is different post me back to suggest solutions.

Welcome to Fixya. The answer to your questions is YES. You need an Operating System CD to and install it on your system. However, if you have the same make and model of the motherboard that has been replaced you dont need to have the Operating System CD. just connect the memory, PSU, Processor, and other components and it will run fine.

If the motherboard make and model is different then you need to have a copy of the Operating System you can check Acer if they can provide it to you or purchase one with Microsoft

Yes any USB printer will be OK, download the driver form the internet and install, then plug in the printer and it should work fine.

Window 7 is the latest computer system on the market and espected to communicate with any peripheral devices. The printer may not be as up to date with the computer making incompartibility issues. Sometimes the new computer may require a new recently inonvated printer. Observe the printers models may have been incompartble because the software codes that links the gap i simple uninstallable with windows 7. Consult with the computer technicians to attempt an alternate methods to achievign networking. perhaps connecting to another compuer with the printer or acquring a new printer or downgrading the computers softwares to attain compartibility.

You are looking for LAN driver or WLAN.

Assuming the HP printer has a cable with a USB plug on the end of it, then yes you can.
If you are connected to the internet, then Windows (XP or Vista or Windows 7, or whatever operating system you are using) will find the printer (once it is turned on and plugged into your laptop) and it will usually ask you for the printer driver which is on a CD ROM that came with your printer, or failing that it will ask if Windows can go onto the internet and search for the correct printer driver.
If the Acer netbook doesn't find a driver, go to the HP website and download the drivers for that specific printer (ie Deskjet 1600) ensuring you get the drivers for the specific operating system the netbook is using ie get the Vista driver from HP if that is what the netbook is using. Or, get the Windows 7 driver if that is the op system you are using.
Give it a whirl, its not a tough thing to do.

Test your cable elsewhere and see if it works, if okay, use another port in your computer.That should solve it otherwise replace your printer card in your printer.
