Last night my TV started acting up. The picture will go black and the sound cuts off, get the flashing green light right away and all comes back on after several seconds (in the same manner as when the TV is first turned on), then after a minute or so it repeats this whole process. I had unplugged it for 15-20 minutes last night and when I plugged it back in and turned it on, after a minute or so the same thing happens. I also left it unplugged overnight and when I plugged it in this morning, the behavior repeated itself after a minute or two. The TV is a couple of years old. It sits on a TV stand, not within a home theater unit. I am utilizing one HDMI port using a 5-1 HDMI switcher with HD DVRs plugged into it. I also have HD DVRs plugged into the two component inputs, two SD DVRs plugged into two of the S-video/composite audio slots and a VCR connected to the antenna input. I have used this confirguration the whole time I've had the TV, with the exception that the 5-1 HDMI switcher has only been used for a couple of weeks now. I know my way around connecting components, etc., but am not as polished when it comes to the actual nuts and bolts of the equipment. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

I have done power resets and actually changed the batteries in the remote (I know, sounded weird to me, too, but they say weak batteries in the remote can cause it to send erroneous signals).
I talked to the Sony support line and they said it needs service. If anyone can think of something to look at short of that, I'd be grateful. Otherwise, I call the technician tomorrow.
Replaced the lamp. Seems to be working just fine. Glad it wasn't more than that! :)
KDF-E360A20 Sound and picture go off for about 45 seconds and then come back on for about the same amount of time. Both fans are still running.
