Look real close. It is difficult to see very small pieces of paper that coudl be lodged in many areas. Also if you take a clean cloth with a little rubbing alchol and clean the sensors, this may help
Hi, Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC.
Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other
debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry. Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and
replug and try a test print. Also make sure that you have waited long enough
for the printer to heat up before giving a print job. Finally, it could be an issue with the paper
sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for
servicing..
I had the same problem. I took a card stock sheet of paper. When you turn the printer on and it trys to take the paper thru, I forced it thru and had some small pieces of paper come out. I had the front open so I could see what was happening. It fixed mine, hope it helps u.
Don't know if it's the same problem i had but its maybe worth a try. Canon MP160
My paper went in a little, the wheels were turning but it didn't take the rest of the paper or print. Someone replied to my problem, i tried it and it fixed 1st time. Also seems to of worked for others
Solution:- Use a piece of thin card, a magazine cover is what i used, make sure its A4 size then try to print something, as the paper starts moving push it through! and hey presto it worked for me, everything printing fine now
You prob have a few small pieces of photo paper jammed in the printer somewhere. Try to take something small that you can push through the printer to make sure there is nothing hidden jamming the printer.
there is a small micro switch , when paper is loaded that switch
is activated, bent switch, paper shreds jamed in switch, will cause paper feed problem.
I had the same problem. When I inspected the printer inside I detected that on the right sight of the metal thing that's guide te cartridge holder some plactic piece had broken.
When I glued it, everything went OK for a couple of minutes. Because of the presure on that plastic nock it broken again and the same error appeared on the screen.
Placing one sheet at atime is worse usually as these units feed off a minimum level. Keep them topped up to at least no less than 10 sheets. The printers sound like the have a paper feeding issue. Could be a jam. Open unit, check for paper jam. Cheers lilacgerry xxx
