Error Message: EO -F2-, but I don't have a manual

There's an error message, but I don't have a manual to refrence. The actual message is "EO - F2-" then it flashed E352. What do I need to do? I don't have a clue. Thank you, Shauna

I tried the cancel/off button and it did come back. Yesterday I did disconnect the power, but I don't remember for how long and the message did come back. So, I think I need to get someone out to fix the keypad ribbon cable. Thank you for your help!!! I'll let you know what happens....Shauna

I have the same prob but on a WhirlPool AccuBake Duo. Display reads E0-F2 followed by lots of beeping. Any help much appreciated!

Yes, I have the same EO F2 problem with my Whirlpool Accubake double oven. We've shut the circuit breaker down for at least an hour then turned it back on to find the same error code after a few beeps. I even tried pressing buttons (in case they were stuck). I guess we'll have to pull the monster of an oven out to check and clean the ribbon. It's a shame the unit is only 3 years old and we didn't opt for the extended warranty. If any new info for this problem please advise..... Thanks

Actual Solution: I justed fixed EO F2

1. Disconnect the power for 30 minutes!
2. Once reconnect the power, press the "cancel" button for 3-4 sec, this two steps serve as reset.

I have a Whirlpoor gas range and it has error message EO F2 for few weeks now. After searching on internet for possible solutions and didnt find anything working, I called Whirlpool thinking as a last attempt before calling expensive tech. people.

They told me exactly the above two steps, I came home and tried, it worked like a charm....

Note: Disconnect for 30 min, I tired 1 minute as some suggested on internet and didnt work.

Shauna, you have a keypad problem here. First try pressing the cancel/off button for 5 seconds. If the code is still there, disconnect the power for about a minute and connect. If the error returns you will have to get someone to disconnect the keypad ribbon cable from the main board, clean the end with an eraser and re-connect it. Re-apply the power and see if the error returns. If the error returns, probably a bad keypad. E0-F2= stuck or shorted keypad....Catriver..post back

I did exactly what echo1700 said. I unplugged the whole thing, waited for an hour (so, a little longer than advised), plugged it back in and held the cancel button down for 5 seconds. Ouila! It's totally fixed and I've used it about four times since then with no problems at all.

I have a Whirpool Accubake with the EO F2 error. I tried unplugging it, then holding down the cancel button after plugging it back in. It didn't work. So I unplugged it again, let it sit for a couple hours, then held down the cancel button before and while I plugged it in. This worked. It let me figure out which button was faulty. (It was the clock button)

mcatan, what sort of problem with the clock button did you have and how did the procedure help you figure it out?

After cooking my whirlpool Electric Range started to beep and shows EO F2. The range top is working ( and range top controls ) but the oven won't shut off and the controls are not working for the oven.

Hello,

Here is what my online service manual for the F2-EO error code says

F2 - E0 Shorted keypad (also called touch pad) 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock)

I hope this helps

No response from the electric chart. Nothing

Yes, E0 F2 is a stuck keypad. You might get lucky by pressing all the keys several times at random and unstick it. If that does not work you need a new control.

EO F2 Lock message on oven panel

The solution was to hold down the "start" button for five seconds, which reset the system. I figured out that I had entered the model number of my oven wrong (mistaking a "Z" for a "2"). When I re-entered the correct model number in the "search for manual" section of the Whirlpool site, I was able to access the user manual and find the section that walked me through the correction.

It means "shorted keypad".

1. Disconnect power from oven for longer than 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for longer than 5 minutes.
3. If failure remains, disconnect power, replace control, then
go back to step 2.
4. Unplug and replug membrane connector.
