One of my favorites things about HP is they have service manuals available for free online. Yours is located at:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01122313.pdf

and will give you exploded views, step-by-step disassemble, and part numbers for everything you'd ever need for that laptop. If you need a manual for another laptop, you can go to hp.com and search for the model number under support and troubleshooting information.
