SOURCE: Lexmark x4550 wireless scanner pin code
The Pin code, if it's the 4 digit pin - is one you can create yourself to be used when scanning as a login, but is not necessary, it can be left blank, unless one was already entered upon installation. The manual can also be downloaded from the Lexmark site, type in your model # (ei: x4550) in the search box on the lexmark site, then technical support & then publications, you should find the "getting started" & "user manual".

On scanning the results are very dark, with blue strips through the text. photographs come out almost completely black. the intensity of the scanning light is very low more toward a yellowish color instead of being a bright white. Is it possible to replace the scanner light bulb in this printer?
