Printer lexmark ej error
The EJ error message on your model indicates that the print cartridge carrier has stalled. It could be due to the cartridges or the encoder strip (transparent strip found behind the cartridge carrier) has gotten loose from its position. Please follow steps below to identify and fix the problem:
- Open the printer cover and remove both the cartridges. Note: If the carrier does not automatically move to the center, turn off the printer/unplug the printer from the power source and then slide the carrier to the center.
- Check the encoder strip and make sure it is secured in its place.
- Close the printer cover.
- Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.
- When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first. Close the printer cover and check for any errors.
- If no error appears, reinsert the other cartridge. Close the printer cover.
- Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear with a new cartridge.
- If no error appears, try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Hello!
Cartridges #14 and#15 can be refilled, but they won't work afterward, because they have a "smart chip" that blows the electric contacts on the cartridges (that is why Lexmark labels them as "return program cartridges").
You should buy #14A and #15A, those are refillable.
Hope that helps!

Says paper jam and there is no paper jam
Leading cause of paper
jams is debris / foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed
area. Please try this approach to fix the problem:
- Remove the sheets of paper from
the feeder.
- Grab a flashlight and look
inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
- If you're willing and
physically able, you may also carefully turn the printer over. Any debris
should just freely roll out from the feeder.
- If feeder is clear, place the
printer on the table. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.
- Check the cartridge area for
any obstructions in the paper path.
- Close the printer cover.
- Re-brick your printer by
pulling out the power supply - the black box where the power cord is
plugged into. Re-plug after 30 seconds.
- When the printer turns on,
reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print again to verify
that the problem is fixed.
Will not come on.
