Why is the oven fan making a rattling noise

I do not no the specific model you have but chances are that the noise you are hearing is the bearings(or brass bushings) are going out in your fan motor. Which in turn allows the shaft of the motor to not remain true and rattles. In laymen's terms, you just need a new fan motor. I hope this helps. "Be Easy!"

Vibration/rattle and digital lights flickering

could be the fan,i've seen dust get in there and there's a screen that the fan blows air through to cool down the electronics,so if the fan is bad it's not cooling down your board and that's why the light flicker, how old is the unit, sounds like the board is damaged from over heating most likely from the fan and i looked up the model number and you can't get that board anymore,if the board is bad you could get it rebuilt,i just helped someone else with the same problem the board is discontinued, you have to have the board taken out, draw up a wire diagram and send the board out to have it rebuilt, when they send it back you reinstall it,and wire it.
https://www.appliancetimers.com/appliance?model=gbd307pdt7
maybe if the fan motor gets changed out the board won't over heat anymore and won't give you a problem but it doesn't sound good.i think the board will also be an issue

The oven makes a loud rattling sound when it reaches a certain heat (tends to be about 200 degrees) and then rattles intermittently until turned off. If you slam the door it does sometimes shut for a...

From what you describe is happening, I would say that it is the fan that is causing the noise, not neccesserily the oven fan, because there is an external cooling fan as well, and these are the only moving parts that could cause a noise.
Hope this helps.

OVEN MAKES A LOUD NOISE WHEN IT IS TURNED ON. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE FAN IS HAVING TROUBLE TURNING OR SOMETHING.

This indigates worn or tight fan motor bearings, if it is a built in oven , then it could have an external cooling fan in addition to the oven fan, so you will have to determine which one it is.
Usually it means having to replace the offending fan motor, as lubricating only provides a short term solution.
Hope this helps.

Convection oven making rattling sound.

It is most likeky that the fan bearing is worn and thus causing the rattling sound. You will probably need to replace the fan. Check first that there is no obstacle in the way of the fan rotating.

Replacement of the fan will require the back of the oven to be removed giving access to the fan unit, which will need to have the wires disconnected and the fan assembly unbolted. Fitting is the reverse.

Always remember to switch off the power before working on electrical equipment.
