I have had a Mitsubishi DLP 52525 for 2+ years now and recently the green timer light started to rapidly blink when the unit was turned on and it continued to blink without the picture coming on. After discconnecting the power and then using the system reset button, the problem remained. I swapped out the lamp and the tv worked for about a day and now the same problem is occurring. I have hit the system reset button but to no avail. There is nothing in the manual that deals with what is indicated by a constant blinking green timer led. Looking for suggestions. I have a Mitsubishi WD-52525 that has the green blinking light problem as well. I have replaced the bulb, but I don not get a picture when I turn on the TV, just sound. Now when I hit the reset button, it blinks green, then clicks off with a solid red light. When this TV was working properly I would notice a faint siren like sound when the TV was first turned on and before the picture would appear, but now I don't seem to be hearing that sound anymore. Any ideas on how to get this TV working again?
The circut that detects the bulb has been also failing in these sets
and the conversion chip that controls the picture , and the transformers are not putting out the full power they are supposed to.
this set will need to be tested to determine the exact cause or causes
