Start Registry Editor and navigate to the following key: [HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management] Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown value to 0
Or, using Group Policy Editor [for Windows XP Professional] Click Start, Run and type Secpol.msc Click Local Policies | Security Options In the right-pane, set Shutdown: Clear virtual memory pagefile to Disabled However, this setting is not the only cause for slow shutdowns. Non-responsive programs and Services also contribute to slow shutdowns. If the problem is seen recently after installing a third-party driver or software, try a System Restore rollback to see if that resolves the slow shutdown problem.

The most common reason of a PC getting auto shutdown is that the processor may be getting over heated. Every processor has a TjMax temperature. when the processor reaches that temperature, it starts throttling(slow down) and if it continues to become more hotter then it automatically sends a shutdown signal to the Computer
Solution:-
Clean the Heat-sink.
Check the fan speed.
clean the cabinet.
use thermal paste over thee processor.
Make sure there is proper ventilation in your cabinet.

the same thing happened to me this is not a device error but a OS error to solve this problem use system restore to restore the system to a date before this error started occurring this a totally random error that happens due to a code fault just restore the system to a date where this problem was not there and you will be fine
