The PT display clock is systemwide and done by your Panasonic installer or someone with access to the Maintenance Console. It's option 2.9.1 and the format is either 12 or 24 hour as one of the checked options.

How do i change the names on the extensions on my kx-dt343 so when i hit the button to call that line it shows the right name?

From the phone connected to extension 101, press PROG and dial **1234 If the display responds Sys Prog #, then dial 004 and enter. It's the menu to assign names to extensions. You can sort of follow along and use the arrows, the keypad, and the ENTER and SAVE buttons to step through the names and change them.
