Hello, i have a Problem with my Canon dr 9050c. If

There are a set of gears that convert motor rotation into lifting of the tray. Check if the gears are aligned properly. Any stapler pin jammed inside can stop the gear, while the motor pushes it forward. This will create noise. Very unlikely that these motors fail. Also clean the paper sensor in the tray. S. We have a Canon DR-5010C which is reporting to us that our PIck Up Motor has an error - please can anyone help or explain why or what this means?

It sounds as though your scanner is quite old and had a lot of use - this model is now discontinued. If you get it repaired, it will probably not be worth the expense, and it maybe better to upgrade, maybe with a 7510? You may get help from the Canon website at http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/office/imageformula_scanners/imageformula_dr_5010c_6030c/imageformula_dr_5010c_color_production_scanner#ServiceAndSupport I searched for 'motor pick up error' and it gave a download for firmware

Canon dr-2010c device cannot be locked

I hope there is enough hard disk space is available in the drive/volume you are attempting to send the data. Scan in TIF compressed mode, uncompressed made uses large space.Check if there is virus on your system. Uninstall and reinstall the drivers. Run scandisk to optimise disk performance.S. Mohan
