You will need an ohm meter, and the know how to use it. Turn on your meter to resistance check, unplug one or both of the wires going to it. Place the two leads on each of the terminals. If you have an anolog meter (has a pointer that moves) when you touch them, the meter should move towards the opposite end. If digital, it should show some sort of reading around zero or so. If neither moves you have an open circuit, and the limiter is bad. Now if it's a thermistor, checking of this needs to be checked with a certain value at a certain temperature. Usually cheap enough to just change if you get a bad code or uneven or no heating.

Have you tested the thermal limiter at all on the back panel of the unit? It is similar to a fuse, and a small square part on the top left portion of the back panel.

Hello 33bakerfamil - You may try and reset the washer by disconnecting the power to the unit for up to ten minutes by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. Is the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose or pump is clogged and needs cleaning. Will the drum manually rotate (when it is not in use)? If it does not, then the drum could possibly be unbalance and/or have a broken shock/bearing. Other possibilities are: experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, control board communication, faulty timer/pump, and damaged cord. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend reaching out to an expert to properly diagnose and repair the unit.

The motor could the problem or the the bearings that turn the drum freely re worn to an uneven wear.

Use a putty knife to release the topRemove the screws holding the front and get it out yer way. My guess is you probably got some lint on the ignitor and cause a burnout or a limit to trip. If you don't hear the clicking associated with the ignitor heating up and the flame sensor kicking it off then I would check to see if maybe a limit was tripped. On gas dryers when the limit trips the dryer will operate but simply will not heat up. If you hear the click then the ignitor is working. It would not click otherwise. The flame sensor is also working because you hear the click. The solenoids are known to get hot and quit with age. What did you do move it from one place to another place? You may have shifted the lint around and cause a limit to get tripped. Here is the manual and moreA gas dryer has a burner assembly consisting of an ignitor, 2 coils, and a flame sensor. The ignitor does 2 functions. It lights the fire and confirms the fire is on like a thermocouple. When it is heated it holds in the coil. If the glowbar is not lit then the coils will not open. The ignitor must be heated to allow that. So if the ignitor and flame sensor is fine and the dryer works when cool but stops heating when hot I would say you need to replace the solenoids. Make sure the belt is not twisted. Look for reasons why the belt might have broken. Pop the top with a putty knife and support it with a chain or twine. Remove the front panel and get the drum out. Inspect the center bearing and glides for wear. Clean up the dryer removing as much lint as possible the ribbed side of the belt goes to the tub. Move the idler with one hand and loop the belt onto the motor shaft with the other using the access panel behind the backside of the machine. The flame sensor, ignitor, and coils all are wired together in a complicated circuit so that the coils will not operate untill the ignitor is out of the circuit and is screaming hot. If the ignitor is open or bad the coils will not operate because the ignitor becomes like a thermocouple when screaming hot. So if the ignitor is working and the flame sensor is working properly AND the dryer will work some and then quit, I would suggest to you that the coils are aged and when they get aged they tend to fade and die when used once or twice.
