How can I use It wider range? ( not to extend

The airport routers have built in antennas and external antennas cannot be attached. For wider range, place the router high up and away from glass, metal, and stone. Try changing wireless channels to lessen interference.

My AirPort Extreme is not

If you know how to set it ..(there is a manual available on the net and its simple to follow) ...I suggest to reset it and connect again by cable and set it up again ..and where in the wireless settings try to change the channels ...and pay attention on any setting that may make it invisible for other devices...
like I said ..frequencies...channels... access by mac address and so on .... I herd about mobile devices and wifi ..that had this problem cause were not compatible with the encoding used(for ex wep or wpa) for password ..so try to make it password free after the reset ..
so ..whatever it is if you reset it and make the settings again will be from factory level ..and will be eliminate ...cause there is no damage on the device if the Mac is connecting well

Do you have the "AirPort Utility" installed on your computer?

If not, you can download it from Apple here: (Click here for Windows) (Click here for Mac)

If you run that and connect to your AirPort Extreme, it will display the error message when you click the "Manual Setup"

Let us know what the error message is and we'll try to help.

Try a different antenna configuration.
I just read an article in last weeks Micro Mart magazine.
It was very surprising how the signal strength and range can alter depending on the type and angle the antenna are set at. If there are 2 antennas, angle them at 90 degrees to each other in a V shape, also try fixing them horizontal rather than vertical.

Check your connections:

DSL-modem to telephone-jack (or cable-modem to cable-jack).

Ethernet cable from DSL-modem (or from cable-modem) to WAN port on your router.

Ethernet cable from LAN port on router to WAN port on your Airport.

Cut the power to the Airport, and then plug it back in, so that it restarts.

I have a macbook and

Not sure what you have tried yet, so I'll suggest the first thing to try ...
The cable modem will have an ethernet jack on it for "LAN" - you will need an ethernet cable ... plug the cable into this jack .. and the other end of the cable into the airport extreme .. and then power up the airport extreme .. if the airport extreme is new, it will set itself up automatically .. if not new, it might still set itself up automatically - look for a green light on the extreme ... if you have a green light you should be in good shape
Of course your computers have to be in range, say within about 100 feet of the extreme to pick up its wireless signal.
In the MacBook, make sure Airport is turned on - in System Preferences under Network.
Your MacBook should figure things out all by itself and you should be able to connect to the Internet.
On the PC, you'll need a wireless card if you don't already have one ...

You should be able to use the internet simultaneously and each computer should be able to share files if you want to try that (file sharing is turned off by default on the Mac, not sure about the PC)

Good luck!
