LOOKING ONLINE, COMPUTER FREEZED SO

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to repair any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive or control panel administrive tools, computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart then defragment your hard drive hope this helps

Long beep when power on

If you are getting long beep and then short beep. It might be an issue with the Video card. If you have a graphic card installed on the computer please try to remove the graphic card and try to connect the Monitor to the default onboard Graphic port (If available)

For any further assistance please feel free to contact with more details

I dont have sound of my cpu k8m800-m7a

Hello,

According to your User Manual your motherboard uses a Realtek ALC655 chip. The driver for this can be obtained at:

Realtek ALC655 Download

(There are some links there also to aid you in installing the driver.)

You must enter the letters in the verification box and then click on Download.

Thanks for using Fixya.

I can't have a sound and audion output.What i need

Good day sir/ma'am, hi, If your motherboard does not produce sound, it could be any of the following:
  1. Your device driver for the sound is not yet installed. locate the CD that come with your motherboard. your sound card model is realtek alc 655 as shown in this website : http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb/content.php?S_ID=209 if you cannot find the driver download it from this site: http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb/driver.php?S_ID=209
  2. Your volume is either in mute or i a low volume setting. Check the taskbar at the lower right side of the desktop if you see a speaker icon, right click it and set the volume level to high.
  3. Your speakers is not connected to the audio port. Check the baby plug stereo speaker connector to the green audio port at the back panel of the PC, (usually pink, blue and green are side by side)
  4. Your speakers are not working properly. If you have portable mp3 players, plug in your speakers to it for testing.
  5. Worst come to worst if your green audio port is the defective one. you can use the blue one provided you enable 4 channel, so sound is sent to the blue port.
  6. your built in sound card is bad, you can get a replacement soundcard of any brand, provided its PCI slot. or get those small USB type sound card.
If I miss anything feel free to ask, hope these will solve your sound problems.

Only red light appear on the cpu

There could be many things that could stop the board from turning on, Determining if it works is like detective work. What I do, is take everything off the board to start. Then add the minimum to start a board to see if it will start. That's one drive (cd or otherwise) the CPU, and one bank of memory. (that's not a required eliminate, but it helps avoid beep codes) Also, make sure you have your pin's set on the board absolutely correct, or that could be your problem to begin with. Now, you should get the power supply on, and the cpu. If those don't power up, it's then either one of the five elements. The CPU, Power supply, Ram, Drive, or the motherboard. The next step is to replace each one of the first four to see if you get any change. If no change, then I usually get another board that I can test the first four, and make sure that they work. After that, then I say you have a DOA Board

Good Luck

Bios rom error

Well, if you can "flash it", you may use an integrated software, who loads the normal BIOS ROM/FLASH from a USB storage (MAximun a 2Gb FAT32 Pendrive), this will depend from the manufacturer. If it is an OLD motherboard, you may go to technotrash shops, buy and crappy old pc, take it BIOS ROMchip and put on the place of you bios chip, but must be the same model, and if you install wrong, something very bad will happen. You must search on the manufacturator's database and the bios creator's database, to find the right way to reprogram or replace it. Remember: on very old Pcs, the BUIOS chip is removible, the most recent PCs, uses flash memories, who can be erased easyly by help of manufacturator software, and reprogramed.
