The only mention of the ATSC tuner is on page 24 (page 25 of the PDF) under the use of the Display key on the remote. Depending on your location, you may need an external antenna to view any digital broadcasts. If you use one antenna with several TVs, you may also need an amplifier. (Note: amplifiers do fail and can become filters that block some channels.)
