I have a GE Profile double oven, model #JT955SOF3SS. The top oven door will not shut all the way. It closes approximately three quarters of the way.

The hinges are obstructed or the springs have been weakened by heat. Correction of the problem requires removal of he oven and disassembly to gain access to the affected parts. Not an easy job because those parts are enclosed in the outer shell of the oven.

My ge monogram oven model number ZET1PH1SS, barely 2 years old, oven light will not turn off

Check that whatever switches the light on and off is making good contact. My GE fridge has a bottle cap glued to the inside of the door, crude but it works. Some are magnetically operated, so you could test with a rare earth magnet. For a mere $73 you can purchase a new switch.

Jkp27wow2ww model Mt6868970. What does f7 error indicate?

The F7 error indicates a stuck keypad error on GE ovens. This actually could be a stuck or shorted key, a problem with the ribbon cable between the keypad and the control board, or a problem with the electronic oven control. On a number of GE ovens, the issue is with the ribbon cable. There could be insufficient insulation shielding the individual conductors in the wiring harness, a broken conductor (single wire) or corrosion at the connection to the control board. Sometimes the keypad or the control board need to be replaced. Make sure to disconnect the power (unplug or turn off at the circuit breaker) before attempting to do any diagnostics. Some parts for the JKP27WOW2WW are available here: https://www.appliancepartspros.com/search.aspx?model=jkp27w0w2ww . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

What is the part number for a replacement lower heating (baking) element in a GE JBS07V6WW oven?

The parts diagram for the JBS07V6 is available here: https://www.appliancepartspros.com/parts-for-ge-jbs07v6.html . The last two characters indicate the color of the range. The bake element (lower) is part 650 on the body cavity parts diagram. This gives the current part number as AP2031061 or WB44X10009 . See https://www.appliancepartspros.com/ge-bake-element-wb44x10009-ap2031061.html . This is a replacement part number and the previous part numbers are listed on the left hand side of the page (second link). I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

How to Fix Code F3 on GE Oven

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F3 in your range/oven means oven temperature sensor circuit failure. To resolve this issue you’ll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

GE Gives F3 code, broiler won’t turn off. Temp sensor measures 1100 ohms. Element measures 16 ohms. Starting oven with broiler element removed still sends F3. What to check next? Also, is it safe to use the top burners while having this problem with the oven?

Hello. From the symptoms you describe, your main control board(EOC) is damaged. There are relays on the board that handle the heavy amp load of the heating elements(you don't have 400 amps going thru your key switch when you start your car--same applies to your oven) These relays can burn up, have the contacts shorted together, or the main board can become corrupted due to power surges(storm damage). The F3 error is a temp error. In an oven, NORMALLY, only the main board and the temp sensor control the oven temp. In 98% of oven temp sensors, the proper ohm reading at room temp is 1100 ohms of resistance(+/- 10%). Did you have a power outage or "brownout" within the last 4-6 weeks? This is not written in stone but USUALLY, if the board was damaged by a current surge, the chips on the board will start to fail in that time frame. If you give me the make and model of your unit, I can look up the part number and price for you. I hope I wasn't too long-winded and helped you!!

I have a GE oven M# PGS908SEM1SS, serial #

Hi.

The WB24T10140 is an high limit switch that will cutoff when temperature is too high.

Allow the high limit to cool down. Read Ohms on the part. If it still has no continuity( infinite Ohms) then the high limit has blown and must be replaced.

The reason why the high limit has blown is the high temperature generated in the self cleaning cycle.
Self cleaning generates high temperatures to clean the oven. Sometimes this can damage parts as thermal cutoff/high limit, probe, or even control board wiring.

Here all parts and diagram for your oven.

Here one of the cheapest sellers at $40.

Please do not forget to leave feedback.

Regards.

G.

Where can I get a replacement temperature control for GE model 169152

I am unsure whether you are asking for the control itself or the knob or ? If you google for GE 169152 control part you will get some results, including some manuals. Once you find the part number of the part you are looking for, you can either look for that part online, or you should be able to find a local appliance part supply store/warehouse to get it from. I got a GE genuine temperatire control for my GE range last week from ReliableParts locally.
