A 400 is a laser related error. Please replace your laser unit the machine will be ok

check power supply for dry joints

browse the ip address, go to basic settings on the menu go to contacts, access your name and change the password then submit

remove the drum unit. on the part of the unit that goes first in machine is the is waste toner container. on each side of the container there is a screw, remove one screw and pull out the cover. slant the unit and the waste will come out

this is drum related error. empty waste toner from the drum unit

this a drum unit related problem. empty the waste toner and the error will reset automatically

Turn the machine Off the machine and try to shake it little bit. if its not cleared you have to replace the processing unit.

After replacing the process unit, turn the
power switch off and then on. If the problem
cannot be solved, replace the waste
toner sensor or the engine PWB.

It happens with me serveral times and always solved by replacing the processing unit.

The easiest way to scan is to use the paper port software the came with the machine. To use this you must be connect by a USB cable to your computer. You will need the Twain driver which comes on the disk that came with the machine. All you have to do is load the Twain driver from the disk and then load paper port. Hope this helps. You don't want to know how to hook up network scan.

There is a 3 inch long plastic arm under the top door of the top feeder. This is a sensor arm. It is most likely broken. See your local copystar dealer for a replacement part.

Replace the Imaging Unit (drum) Your toner carts sits on it. Pull the entire unit out

if you have the cd of kyocera, insert it and find addons then intall it first. when its done use some programs for example scanner plus.

Upgrade the firmware and the diver software, that will help you to fix the problem.

You need to setup the email server setting through the command browser of the machine. open the explorer and type the ip address of the machine. under Email scanning setup the email server info and you will be fine. you need the program what came wiht the machine like the drivers in cd-rom,i dont remember the name, but must be some the name diferent of the driver. put in cd-rom is auto-instalation.

pull the tray out ull see a big gray tyre inside the copier clean it with wd40,and at the back of the tray ull see a green paper stopper make sure its right up against back of the paper.
