Transfer photos but cannot see them
you may have not placed them in the right file on the player. look in the user manual to find out where to put them. also they might need to be a specific file format. if they do all you have to do to change it, for example to change jpg to bmp, is rename the file from *.jpg to *.bmp replacing * with the file name. hope this helps, solver214!
Ihave gogear sa32x wh i turn on on screen i see philips logo and
you may need to install the driver for the computer to recognise the mp3 player (go to control panel, swich to classic view if it isnt already and go to add hardware then follow the onscreen instuctions). 'ready to disconnect' is normal it is just telling you that it is safe to remove the player from the computer. 2 possibilities for turning off: the battery needs charging (connect to computer to do this) or the player is locked. refer to the user manual under controls to find out how to unlock it. as far as i know, as i have a gogear sa1922, there is a slider somewhere on the player to unlock it. hope this helps, solver214!

Recovery
Mode for Philips' GoGear
Open
the Philips Device Manager (Start à
All Programs à Philips Digital
Audio Player à SAXXX à Philips Device Manager) and
click on the “Repair” tab. Then click on
the “Repair” button to start the repair process. Most of the time, when your player is in that
state, the Device Manager will not recognize that your GoGear is plugged
in. If this is the case: Disconnect the
player from the PC, and make sure the mp3 player is turned off. Hold in the
volume + button on the mp3 player, and reconnect the player to your pc while
holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the volume + for 10-15 seconds
until a "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up. It should recover your
device if there isn't anything internally wrong with the player. Warning: this
procedure will result in your songs being erased off the player, so they will
have to be reloaded.
Philips
GoGear Firmware Upgrade
You
need to get the latest firmware upgrade from the Philips website:
1.
Go to www.philips.com/support
2.
Enter your country/language
3.
Enter your model # SA6045 or whatever
4.
Click on the link for your exact model # (the one w/o the "B" in it)
5.
Click on "Software & Drivers"
6.
Download the updated "Device/Firmware Manager"
7.
Once installed, open the Philips Device Manager
8.
Click on the "Update" tab, then the "Update" button (with
your mp3 player connected to the computer, of course)
9.
Your Mp3 players firmware will update automatically
If
you do not have the latest version of the Philips Device Manager installed (the
latest is the version from the Philips website), then clicking the
"Update" button will give you a false positive saying "The
firmware on your device is already up to date."

Mp3 Doctor
Hello, my mp3 player keeps locking up and shows
Alright there are a few things I can think of.First it got knocked around somehow.Something got slightly disconnected and now it will work to a extent. The second is you downloaded a song that had a piece of mallicous virus in it.In that case you are screwed.Sorry to say man.The other reason is if liquid was spilled on it or it was old.If either of those happened then you might want to replace your phone dude.Hope it helped.
MUSIC HAS NO SOUND
If it's all music on the mp3 player, then try a different pair of headphones. If still no sound, try partially unplugging, plugging in the headphones and try wiggling the connector .If there is still no sound, then try erasing all the songs on it and restore the device. If that doesn't help, then it's probably time to replace the mp3 player since the headphone jack is damaged.
I tried to download videos on my philips gogear
format it and reload the software then get this arcsoft media converter 3, then drag and drop the videos you want to get on your mp3 player into the program, after it converts it it loads them onto your mp3 player as long as its connected, this program will also allow you to download youtube videos and put them on your mp3 player too
