All what you can do is to RESET the player. There is a TINY hole on the side of the player and using a office pin you can push the small button within to reset the processor.
If the set does not come to life then check the charging or connect to the PC to see if detected. If so charge and clean the memory after a scan , copy only recommended files.

This error occurs sometimes with the player. Please format your player via your computer so as to solve it.

IMPORTANT:
Formatting will erase all data on this player. Make sure you have backup all data on this player before execute the formatting.

1. Connect your player to your computer.
2. Double click My Computer at the desktop on your computer. You will find an icon for your player.
3. Right click your mouse to select Format... in the popup menu.
   • If you can not find the Format... option after you right click the icon, please double click the icon, you will find another icon named Internal Storage, right click this icon to select Format.... You may get a warning message, click the OK button to start the formatting.
4. Click the Start button. The formatting will auto start. You will get a message Format complete when the formatting is finished.
5. Transfer again your backup data as you did to the player.

If you're trying to connect your device to your system, please be advised that Philips GoGear HDD6330 MP3 Player is not compatible with Mac systems. The disk utility will not see it as a mountable driver.

Google search for free mp3 music files and download them to your computer. Then connect the USB cable that came with your player, connect it to your player and then plug it into the USB port on your computer. The computer will see the player as an external storage device, then copy the mp3 music files to your player.

Your firmware is corrupted so reinstall it.Just follow the steps given in the below link.\

Most likely your battery is bad. Get a new battery on ebay for it and you should be fine.

have you installed the software? if yes then go to the software that came with the device. If no software came with the device i recommend you download winamp as that has an interface that works with most mp3 player. when going to winamp.com make sure you select the free winamp.

You are going to want a language translator, such as Bing Translator to help you make your way back to settings and switch it back to English.... Also, make sure it is set on the right region format, say if it is set for Italy, it may assume you are Italian and switch the language :) Hope this helps :) Check the to see if it on the right timezone also... Reading the instruction manual may help....

sorry for that.. it seems a virus deleted your files.. open a clean computer. A sure computer with Norton Antivirus in it, or at least an updated Antivirus utility.. now plug your mp3 player, scan for a virus.. if it doesnt detect any but your mp3 is shown in My Computer, access your mp3 player by typing the drive letter. eg.type E: on the address bar. press enter. Usually your files will be gone but there are viruses that hide your files under a "_" folder so access it using the address bar eg. E:\_ then press enter.. You'll see all your files there.. now copy everything and paste it to your root directory..
