If blinking red you have a serious issue. It may be dead.

Its caused by services that update or monitor the drive. Intel motherboards seem to cause HDD to operate with a lot of noise

make sure cards are seated down (with power cord out)

try if works ;) your good

if not next step is cord out an remove power and cable off the CDROM drive

try it, just go through all hardware till it starts
to determin what failed, if still same no boot then PSU has died

Yes it can be done. Just with a bigger power supply comes more cables.
And with a mini tower, it could get crowded inside your computer.

Sounds like the audio return wires aren't connected. On the motherboard, there is a sound jack on the back left side of the mobo. The jacks from the front audio panel connects to it. Both the Left and Right channel have an out and an in connector. These send the signal to the headphone jack on the front panel and return the signal to the rear output jack if a headphone is not connected. Look for looe or broken wires. The other spot to check is the front headphone jack. If a headphone plug was pulled out or pulled sideways, it could break the solder joint on the PCB panel or break the shunt feeding the singal to the rear jacks. Hope this helps.

It could be overheating. Make sure all the components and fans inside the tower a clean of dust. Get a can of compressed air and blow all the dust out. You could also try removing and re-seating all your pc cards, memory sticks and cables.

it's in the computer, open it up and you will see it.

Restart tap F8 then get into safe mode and find system restore or last good configuration...This may fix it. May need to go to the bios and make the dvd or cd the 1st boot item then F 10 it to save it...

System does not power on and the LEDs on the front of the computer are not flashing.
System unable to power on.
Press and hold the power button for less than 4 seconds. If the hard drive LED turns green, then:
1.Check that the voltage selector is set to the appropriate voltage.
2.Remove the expansion cards one at a time until the 3.3 V_aux light on the system board turns on.
3.Replace the system board.

Press and hold the power button for less than 4 seconds. If the hard drive LED does not turn on green then:
1.Check that the unit is plugged into a working AC outlet.
2.Open hood and check that the power button harness is properly connected to the system board.
3.Check that both power supply cables are properly connected to the system board.
4.If the 3.3 V_aux light on the system board is on, then replace the power button harness.
5.If the 3.3 V_aux light on the system board is off, then replace the power supply.
6.Replace the system board.

make sure that all connection is fixed carefully.
