This printer has no carousel alignment. The toners do not fit into a carousel. This printer has an imaging drum and print cartridges black, cyan. yellow and magenta. Please be more specific about what you are trying to do or what the printer is doing or not doing.

I just cleaned the mirror inside the laser case after error 55.0000 which was having high speed rotation mirror .Works fine now!!!Used q-tip, was just a little "foggy".

If this printer is more than one year old, it may be less expensive to replace it. Sound like one of the drive gears or a motor has failed. Error lights/codes may indicate where the problem lies. These printers are notorious for stripping gears, especially if you are using non-HP branded toner cartridges.

Check colour cartridge, replace if necessary

Simple answer is that the Laser Assy (ie. Scanner) has gone bad. It is a sealed pack inside the printer that housed the laser and octagonal scan mirror (it spins at very high speed) and if there is any issue with the motor or the laser sensing device it will throw that code. Depending on your cost/value proposition of the printer will determine wether or not you want to spring for the replacement of a new scanner. Labor and Scanner cost will probably run $300-400 would be my guess. If you find a repair facility that will replace the scanner with a refurbished scanner you can shave about 40% off the price of that. Your labor cost should be 75-100 per hour and is about an 1.5 hours to do the work. Good Luck

it sounds like your collection assembly is full. this is not something you can do anything about. it must be replaced and it will be costly. you are probly better off to replace it

Go to the hp.com site and search for said driver. Sometimes they do not update their drivers for older machines, but I am not familiar with this one. Good luck. Once a year Staples will have a special where one can trade in an old machine for a discount on a new HP.
