Okay I found the solution. Spent two days solving it so actually the advertisment is a lie. Wireless he can only print but not scan. I had to plug in my usb cable to be able to scan. Hope this helped you. There's no way you can scan wireless.

Hi. In the paper path is a plastic flag sensor . That detect theif there is paper or not . Maybe there is something activating it may it can be a small piece of paper or a foreign object. That sensor is located in the back side of the rollers

Hi, I suggest if someone is not specialized in refilling ink in an empty cartridge, to get an specialist to the job that they do best to save you time/effort/money. The cartridge has sensitive pins that the printer detects to determine the amount of ink inside the cartridge; other than this the ink may not have been flowing to the printing mechanism correctly indicating a low level. Try running printer maintenance procedure and replace the cartridge. If the printer indicates a low level, you may need to get a new printer cartridge. Good luck.

This sounds odd. Anyway, if printer prints, there's nothing wrong with printer detection. First and foremost, what type of paper and color of paper are you using? What text/image color do you have in your file being printed?

regarding your question, the printer is designed to work on two cartridges.. if you want to print black and your printer has a depleted colored cartridge, you can reset the level of you ink via long pressing the red button (stop/reset). hope to be of help.
