Hi... OK..I'm kinda confused with this question. How old is your TV ?? I went to the Amazon Web, I looked at Emerson TV..all flat screen, (that seems to be all that is sold these days)...but all the TV's I saw, have various RCA, HDMI, Ethernet, mini-jack, and USB input...some of these are outputs like my audio outputs I use for my Bose system, for the large rich sound coming from the entertainment center. Everything is on the backside unless you are talking about a TV mounted on the wall, and you don't have access to the backside, cause it ain't your TV to be messing with.. Good Luck shamim

Did it previously access your PC? There may be compatibility issues. Use the menu button on the Emerson TV to select a new "source." Choose "VGA" input, then confirm that by pressing the OK button (normally the volume+ button on most televisions).
