Well this is typical if the channels are not HD channels, they will look quite poor compared to the HD channels. However for the Movie and Expanded channels that is actually a problem with comcast not releasing the content properly. You will need to call them and have them remotely reset the signal to your box.
To call them, their number is 1-800-266-2278
No picture, just sound on my 50 inch plasma tv
Does it show a Menu at least? If it does then just switch through the INPUT until you see a picture. Cables most likely to be Video 1, 2 or 3. Video games "LINE", or HDMI..of course "HDMI".
Your remote should have an "INPUT" button.

TV is a very hard working device. It is working harder than any TV that has
been built before, and as a result it produces a lot of heat. 75% of technical
problems in plasma TV's are caused by overheating problems. You’ll need to
check the power supply board first for any swollen/bulged capacitors. As power
supply board is the hardest working board in a plasma TV, it develops voltage
to supply all components, high current + high voltage. All this is only
recommended if you have electrical expertise & know how to solder/re-solder
components as these units contain high voltages even when switched off. These
kinds of issues in plasmas usually occur after 3-4years. Please
do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance.

Capacitors going bad in the power supply can cause strange symptoms. They are usually easy to spot as the tops will be swollen or ruptured. Another cause would be the "main" board, also known as the SSB (small signal board) by some manufacturers. There are usually numbers on the board, sometimes more than one set, that can be googled and you can find a source for the board. Check the return policy though,.... if the board doesn't fix it you don't want to be stuck with what could be an expensive part.

Hello,
Hi
A common problem for these is bad capacitors in the power supply, Remove the back from your Tv and look at the power supply on the left hand side.
You will see roughly around 9 x capacitors that are bulged / domed shaped on top usually these are valued at 3300uf 10V any that have bulged or leaked a brown like substance should be changed.
This will cure the problem as they overheat being sat next to a heatsink that gets very hot!
Try and change them for the same 3300uf but a higher voltage.
Good luck and hope this helpout
Tv just makes a clicking sound when tring to turn

technical problems in plasma TV's are caused by overheating problems. You’ll need to check the X and Y sustain buffer boards. When
either of these boards goes bad common problems include negative image, no

and many more. You’ll need to open the back off the TV and check for any
swollen/bulged capacitors on these boards and replace whichever has gone bad. If
