I thought the power adapters were multi voltage. Have a close look as if it is a switch mode type, you may be lucky and just have to change the plug top over.
If not try ebay

here is your service manual. Well, it is nearly always my professional opinion that one should always get a "Quote" from the manufacturers recommended service center, Thomson in your case, please contact a local or head office and ask for a referral to an Authorised service center. I cannot stress how important that last point is. It is even worth the cost of shipping. You see an authorised service agent, will have trained staff, trained on their brand, also they have first hand access to parts, original parts. This will actually save you money and ensure you can actually get it back fixed. Of course asking for a "Quote" also gives on the option of repair or replace. Often my clients,do not go through with repair, unless it is moderate, but in some of the more costly jobs they see it, as do i, that a replacement, with a warranty, is a better option. As an aside here, one could then tear the TV down, and sell the Known Good bits. You'd be surprised who needs parts, i myself often must by from third party sources to effect a repair. So money could be recouped, somewhat, and help out someone else.

Try holding the menu button down, this works for most monitors, just hold it down for at least 1 minute or so

If what your saying is that there are vertical stripes down the screen, You have a screen drive problem my friend. This could mean you will need to change the entire main board, the screen driver board if it is separate on this set, or the main LCD panel itself. These boards do not have any parts available for them and must be replace as a whole unit. Good Luck

Flashing red indicates internal shutdown due to fault protection.
Only a tech can diagnose the fault (and hopefully repair it).
Good luck with getting it done quickly. :)

I am just guessing but you may have an ant-copy signal embedded into program signal causing to when you are trying to look at a recording to another source. If that is the case then there is one way that would work. You need to connect inline with the video line out to the in of the other unit (yellow) and that would solve the problem. Go to xdimax.com and check out a dimax signal adaptor( can not recall what it goes by,description-wise) This is almost like trying to use a hdmi output and a audio/video connection at the same time. This also happened when doing the same with some video decks (vcr)
