sounds like a faulty power supply . needs a service engineer

you have a faulty power board. maybe a complete replacement required or a good service engineer may find faulty capacitors

if the tv is old i presume it does not have a digital decoder buit in.you may have a stand alone digital box .if so try the box on a different aerial if it works ok here then get your aerial checked
