it's very possible that the machine could have jumped time & needs to be serviced

Timing this machine is not so easy but if U want to try... Remove the left bottom panel (one central screw), and look under. U will see by the rear the vertical gear making the hook turn. At the bottom of this gear, U will see a small allen. Slack this allen screw, LEAVE A TENSION ON THE ALLEN SCREW: eitherway the hook will not follow the gear when U bring back the assembly to retight the allen screw. U can now turn the hook on the gear, allowing to change the timming. Send the needle completely down and when it come up, the point of the hook has to arrive at 2.5mm. on the top of the hole on the needle.A TRICK : It might be easier to slighly change the position of the needle in the needle bar. Check the timing and try to correct it but lowering a little bit the needle before tightening the scew, or cut a little bit top part of the needle with a grinder.

Lower thread showing on top is usually a lack of tension under. lower tension can be readjusted on the bobbin case but if U cannot readjust the tension, it means that ther is somthing between the tension blade and the bobbin case body. Remove the tension blade, clean and readjust.

if you aren't pleased with what you have sewn, make sure hand wheel is turn toward you. Raise presser foot. Remove fabric, and use seam ripper to remove stitches by carefully cutting into one stitch, turning fabric to underside of garment and gently pulling bobbin thread until stitches easily pull out. Re-sew what you were dissatisfied with. Jimmy

the motor would have to be replaced & also see if there is any electrical to any part of the machine

Upper thread breaks--needle may be in backwards-- Correct needle insertion is mandatory for proper use of sewing machine. Raise the needle bar to the highest point, then loosen the clamp screw to remove the old needle, place the new needle in the clamp with the flat side to the back of the machine or if using a round needle--the groove in the needle should face away from the shaft.Push the needle all the way up to the stop or as far as it will go, then tighten the needle clamp screw

check for burrs around the needle plate areaa & in the bobbin area or any where the thread passes

have you tried changing the needle?make sure the thread is on the thread take up leveris the machine threaded correctly with every thread guide

I was having the same problem, it was the bobbin, have to keep trying different brands till you find the one that works, the one that comes with it does not, for me anyways.

if the needle broke into where the bobbin area isyou may have to try pulling the fabric out of the bobbin area or cutting the fabric loosethe machine needs to be serviced because the jam may have put it out of time

I found the manual, in case you don't have one, HERE. On page 30, it has an illustration showing two buttons, and the presser foot lever. If you press the button once or twice, it will raise the needle.
> Press (Needle position button) once or twice to raise the needle.
> The needle is correctly raised when the mark on the handwheel is at the top, as shown below. Check the handwheel and, if this mark is not at this position, press (Needle position button) until it is.
Get the manual if you don't have one, that will give you so much more than any here can do, but I think that should solve you trouble, Please rate and comment, Thank You,

Just ask the experts if you do not want to bother. but if want to improve yourself, then do it carefully and patiently. would be fine.
