Check that you have power at the outlet, (by plugging something else in), and check that nothing has chewed the supply lead. After that I would say that the power supply inside the unit has died. Pull it apart and check the voltage(s) with a multimeter but, only if you have some electrical know how and equipment.

Murdo's tip to trim off the cover of the AA battery base to expose a few mm of metal is spot on. Replacement rechargeable batteries for my Thomson wireless headphones did not charge, no green light, utterly frustrating, till I read Murdho's suggestion. Thanks for that

Maybe use a translator web site and put french in as well in your request .
