Hi, Same here but I DO have the manual. Still took a lot of working out tho. Make sure you have decent batteries installed (Should be changed every year) so that the time will remain next power out.

I had the same problem. Looked here for help and found no solution, so dug through the attic till I found the manual. Thankfully I had kept the box. Here's the instructions from the manual:

Setting the Time

1. Press the SET button, the ":" will flash on the display.
2. Press REV or FWD to set the time.
3. AM or PM icon will show beside the time.

TIP: No icon will be flashing if all selectors are set, if you see any icon flashing on display, press the SET button repeatedly to confirm everything is set correctly.

Probably something came loose inside. Most likely the wire that powers the lcd came loose. It's possible it shorted out too. Personally I'd return it and not take it apart. If you can't fix it you'll void the warranty and the store might not return it if they see it's be disassembled. You're better off exchanging it since it's already had an issue after one day. Check that you have power at the outlet, (by plugging something else in), and check that nothing has chewed the supply lead. After that I would say that the power supply inside the unit has died. Pull it apart and check the voltage(s) with a multimeter but, only if you have some electrical know how and equipment.
