Headset not working

Try to connect it to another device that it fits to make sure the headset is the problem. Try reinserting the headset pin into the receiver hole with a slight turn to clean off the contacts in the unit.

No funciona el microfono

Fijate que el control de volumen de grabación esté puesto en "Micrófono", su volumen sea alto y no esté enmudecido. Esta es la principal causa de las fallas en los mics.

Mac computer doesn't hear voice when using rosetta stone

I have windows, so I don't know if this will help, but I found that you have to make sure that the recording device is named "Microphone HS" or something with the word "microphone" in it. For some reason, rosetta stone does not recognize recording devices unless they have the word "microphone" somewhere in their name.... This is true for windows, I don't know if this is true in Mac. At least this may point you in the right direction. :)

How to wire a fridge thermostat

Wiring a fridge thermostat typically involves connecting the thermostat to the power source and the compressor. Here's a general guide for wiring a 3-pin thermostat:
  1. Identify the Pins: The thermostat will typically have three pins labeled 4, 6, and 3.
  2. Connect the Power Source: Pin 4 is usually the common (C) terminal, which connects to the power source. This could be the live wire from your electrical supply.
  3. Connect the Compressor: Pin 6 is often the normally open (NO) terminal, which connects to the compressor. This allows power to flow to the compressor when the temperature rises above the set threshold.
  4. Ground Connection: Pin 3 is commonly the ground (GND) terminal. This should be connected to the ground wire for safety purposes.
