The first thing I would do is update all of your programs and firmware. You can do this by going to the Kodak site ->click
here. From there follow the instructions. If you are offered an update of the firmware, do that as well. Make sure you do not interrupt the firmware update as you can cause trouble if you do. If the problem still persists try taking it to a local printer repair shop instead. It may be something simple but problems like these are too technical for
unexperienced persons. You really don't want to cause more problems in the future.

make sure on your program that you are using to print your pictures, that you have the correct photo size. You could have it set for like a 4X6 for an example, where you might need a 5X7
Got a new Vista computer and cannot get Kodak
If you have the Kodak software on CD or DVD, place the disk in the proper drive (D or E, etc.) and when the program says it is looking for that driver, point it to the location in which you put the disk.
Even though it is not the right driver for what you need to do, often times, applications must have all the drivers available, so that the installation is complete. Then they can do what you need done.
Do give that a shot, As the saying goes, "it might not help, but it couldn't hurt!"

Check that the Paper light is not lit (from a paper error). Clear this error first by removing any paper jams, refilling the paper tray or other needed step followed by pressing the Print button.
To remove the color cartridge, open the cartridge door on the side of the unit. Push up on the green level and slide the cartridge out.
Take the new cartridge, make sure that the ribbon has no slack in it. If there is slack, push in on the cartridge spool and rotate it clockwise. (Do not turn this more than you absolutely must to take up the slack. It could reduce your number of prints.) With the label up and the arrow facing the printer dock, push the new cartridge until it clicks into place. Then press the Print button to clear the error and resume printing.
You can get your manual from Kodak as a PDF or a web page:

I hope this helps.
