MY easy share series 3

Hello,

power off the printer and unplug the printer completely. Try to hold it upside down and gently shake it so that the paper inside it is removed. do not drag the paper in other for it not to get torn.

After, the paper has been removed power on the printer and check the ink cartridge to ensure there is ink inside it and it is well place and fix in its place. Now try to print again.

Take care.

Can you use any rechargeable batterys?

mcdevito75 here, I would figure yes, any re-chargeable batteries, but check with your local Radio Shack or Staples or refer to your manual, Generally you just have to watch the size of the re-chargeable batteries used, and of course a cheaper battery may not lasty as long as the manufacturers suggested battery type or brand if any.

My cartidge is stuck in easy share dock series 3.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with turn printer off and unplug the printer completely (power, USB, etc). Try to hold it upside down and gently shake it so that if there is any paper inside it’s removed. If still it’s not resolved then clean the print head. To clean the print head take a hot water towel with the printer unplugged and the cartridges out, clean it till the time you see there is no ink residue on the towel. If still it’s not resolved then you can use WD40 to remove them. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Does not print total picture

sounds like you need to go to the printer page, go to set up and do a printing test. this will clean the heads and set the printing format.
lastly, kodak's web site might have a trouble shooting information guide to help resolve the issues.

Paper jam

Hello there This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.

That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.
Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

It keeps saying paper jam

Paper jams are reported under two conditions.

1) Paper reaches a sensor and never leaves it.

2) Paper does not reach the sensor in the time allotted.

A simple test is to put a mark on the next page that should be pulled from the paper tray. If the paper is pulled from the tray, you will find it inside the printer. If the paper fails to feed, it will be sitting in the tray where you marked it.

Out of paper issue

Instead of restarting, try this:
1. Start
2. Run
3. Type this in the box: services.msc
4. Hit ENTER
5. Scroll down to PRINT SPOOLER
6. Right-click on it and choose RESTART

this will clear out your print queue without having to restart. Good luck!!

Hi this is the more effective way to refresh the print queue.

Manually Stop and Restart the Spooler Service

1. Click Start, click Run, type command, and then click OK to display the command.com window.
2. Type net stop spooler, then press .
3. Type sc config spooler depend= RPCSS start= Auto, then press . The spaces between = and RPCSS and = and Auto are important. Without these spaces, the command fails.
Type net start spooler, then press
